Spirit River UV2 SCchlappen Feathers. These Spirit River UV2 Schlappen Feathers are the ideal feather for Bass and Saltwater streamers or wrapped as a hackle for salmon and steelhead flies. The colors are bold and enhanced, and the UVF and UVR allow fish to key in on your pattern. Most schlappen feathers come from just in front of and around the tail. They all have long soft flowing fibers and are perfect for patterns you want movement on. Try them on your steelhead and spey patterns. Sizing runs from about 1/0 to 4's and all are Bold-Dyed.
What is UV2 Technology?
It is a double dye process to give all of their UV2 materials and flies added UVF/UVR ultraviolet wavelengths. UV Florescence is used on everything from street signs to fly tying materials. UV Reflectance on the other hand is a spectrum of wavelengths humans cannot visually see; yet it is extremely common in the animal and insect world. UVR allows mayflies to find mates, and bees to find flowers. Fish can see it, and they love it. UV materials and flies are becoming much more popular within the fly-fishing world because of the success they bring while on the water.

To be eligible for return all products must be in brand new, complete original packaging with all accessories and instructional materials included. Any clam shell packaging that has been opened cannot be returned.
